L-1 / L-1A – Business Expansion
The L-1 program may allow qualifying international businesses to transfer eligible executives, managers, or specialized-knowledge employees to a related U.S. company.
For established foreign business owners and executives, L-1A may be particularly relevant when expanding an existing business into the United States or managing a qualifying U.S. parent, subsidiary, affiliate, or branch.
Depending on individual circumstances and eligibility, certain multinational executives and managers may later qualify for an employment-based permanent-residence pathway.
EB-5 – Investment-Based Immigration
